Sir Joseph Banks is credited with introducing more than 7000 species of plants to Kew, the Botanic Gardens outside of London. This fabulous hibiscus, called a Lae Orange, was photographed in the Palm House at Kew. This photograph was first published in an article about Sir Joseph Banks and Captain Cook in the National Geographic Magazine.
